SUMMER INTENSIVE COURSE
ACTING IN ENGLISH FOR FILM & TV for Young Adults
From 14 to 19 years old
This summer, act on camera!
This course is designed for young adults who want to improve both their acting and English language skills. It is especially suitable for those who are considering becoming actors as a profession.
The teachers are all highly qualified native English speakers who are also well known for their work in the film industry. The head of studies is leading casting director, Luci Lenox. She is joined by her associate Mike Cater, our resident improvisation specialist and acting coach Stephanie Figueira, and our wonderful voice coach Jofre Alsina.
The course has been carefully designed to include language training, scene study and preparation for film, television and commercial castings. It will be hard work but fun. Students will receive a copy of all the material filmed during the course.
Level of English:
This course is designed for students whose English ability ranges from an intermediate to bilingual level.
Please bear in mind that the purpose of this course is not to learn English language theory; but rather an screen acting course in English. Naturally, your fluency and confidence speaking the language will improve along with your acting abilities.
